Unity in the Community
Greetings,
We would like to welcome all residents of Sylacauga and
surrounding areas to come out and enjoy a day of family fun, food, and
entertainment, Saturday October 28, 2017 from 9a-8p at: Noble Park on Hwy 21
between 9th St. and 10th St. We will host the
1st ever Sylacauga Day with the theme of “Unity in the Community”.
Our event will bring together all people in light of recent natural disasters
and national tragedies. We will be celebrating life, love, and happiness. On this day we will have face painters, a
bounce house, and a moon walk, live DJ, games for kids, a flag football game, fun
for adults, a talent show presented live and recorded for Youtube and live
performances by several artists from all over the country in an independent
artist showcase presented by Atlwebradio.com.
Sylacauga Day is a new event that will be hosted once in the
spring and once in the fall yearly. Sylacauga Day is an event produced and
coordinated by Alabama Community Day Celebrations (ACDC). Alabama Community Day Celebrations is a new
company setup to bring family fun and entertainment to communities in urban and
rural neighborhoods in Alabama to promote community strength and to help better
build a more connected society. ACDC hopes to inspire stronger community
programs, activities, and events to help the youth and adults come together and
reconnect.
We will offer sponsorship and vendor opportunity for
businesses in and around the Sylacauga area to join in on the fun and promote
their business while generating revenue.
